Driver headcover in genuine cabretta leather
The driver is the biggest club in the bag and the first one you pull out. It's also the club with the most surface to scratch.
A driver headcover in soft cabretta leather protects the clubhead between shots and in the bag. Choose from clean white, Stripe Golf's own pattern, green leather, the Major series and Lotus. All designed in Sweden, with a soft lining and a fit for most drivers.
Why protect your driver?
A driver has a large clubhead with a painted crown. That's the surface that scratches first when clubs knock together in the bag. Marks on the crown won't change your shot, but you'll see them every time you address the ball.
A headcover also keeps out weather and dirt. And if you ever want to sell or trade up your driver, a club without scratches is worth more.
Which driver headcover suits you?
It's mostly about style. All our driver headcovers share the same idea: cabretta leather, a soft lining and a fit for most drivers.

Will it fit my driver?
Our driver headcovers are shaped for the driver's large clubhead and fit most drivers on the market. Most modern drivers are close to the maximum size allowed, which makes the fit predictable.

Why cabretta leather?
Cabretta is a thin, dense leather from hair sheep. It's used in golf gloves because it's soft but strong. In a headcover, that means it holds its shape, slides on and off easily, and ages well.
Synthetic covers often look good when new, but turn shiny and crack over time. Leather tends to get better looking.
Build a set
The driver is usually where it starts. Many golfers then add headcovers for their fairway wood and hybrid in the same series, so the whole bag belongs together. Clean White, Stripe Pattern and Stripe Green come in several club types.
Care
Wipe the cover with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Let it dry at room temperature after a wet round, and give the leather a little leather conditioner a couple of times a season. The white leather likes being wiped down a bit more often.
How to spot a good driver headcover
A driver headcover gets used every round and comes on and off many times. You'll notice quickly whether it's built to last.
- Leather that feels soft. Cabretta is thin but dense, and doesn't go stiff in the cold.
- Even stitching. The stitching is what holds the shape over time.
- Lined interior. It protects the crown and lets the cover slide on and off without scratching.
- The right size. A driver headcover should stay put in the bag, even when you're walking uphill.
A driver headcover as a gift
Looking for a gift for a golfer? A driver headcover is one of the safest choices. Almost everyone has a driver, it's the first club people notice in the bag, and few buy a nice cover for themselves.
Go with Clean White if you're unsure of their taste. White works with any bag. For something more personal, Lotus or Stripe Pattern suits someone who likes to stand out a little.
