Fairway wood headcover in cabretta leather
The fairway wood is the club that works from both the tee and the fairway. It deserves a cover that lasts as long as it does.
Our fairway wood headcovers are made from soft cabretta leather and designed in Sweden. Choose from clean white, Stripe Golf's own pattern and green leather.
Why protect your fairway wood?
Fairway woods have the same kind of painted crown as the driver, just a bit smaller. They sit high in the bag and knock easily into both the driver and the hybrids. A headcover protects the surface from scratches and marks, and quiets the noise when the bag moves.
If you carry several woods, headcovers also make it easier to grab the right one first time.
Our fairway wood headcovers
- [Clean White](/en/products/headcover-fairway-wood): White cabretta leather. Clean and timeless.
- [Stripe Pattern](/en/products/headcover-fairway-wood-stripe-golf-monster): The same pattern as our driver cover. For a set that ties together.

Fit
A fairway wood headcover is smaller than a driver headcover and shaped for a fairway wood head. Our fairway headcovers fit most fairway woods, whether it's a 3-wood or a 5-wood.

Carry more than one fairway wood?
Plenty of players carry both a 3-wood and a 5-wood. Then it's smart to pick two different series, say one white and one green. You'll know which is which the moment you reach the bag.
Match with driver and hybrid
All three fairway headcovers come in the same series as our driver headcovers and hybrid headcovers. A full set of driver, fairway and hybrid in one series gives you a bag that belongs together.
Cabretta leather that lasts
Cabretta is a thin but dense leather. It's soft to the touch, holds its shape and ages well. A cabretta leather headcover doesn't turn shiny and cracked like many synthetic alternatives.
Care
A damp cloth for dirt, room temperature for wet covers and conditioner a couple of times a year. That's all it needs.
3-wood or 5-wood?
A 3-wood has less loft and is often used off the tee on tight holes or for long second shots. A 5-wood has more loft, is easier to get airborne and is often hit from the fairway.
Both have roughly the same head size, and our fairway headcovers fit both. If you carry both, pick different colors or series.
How to spot a good fairway wood headcover
- Leather that holds its shape. Cabretta doesn't go limp over time.
- Lined interior. Protects the crown as the cover goes on and off.
- The right size. A fairway headcover shouldn't be a driver cover in the wrong size. It should be shaped for the club.
- A clear look. With several woods in the bag, it should be easy to tell which is which.
A fairway wood headcover as a gift
A fairway wood headcover is a good gift for someone who already has a nice driver cover. Pick the same series as the driver, and you've given the bag a set that belongs together.
FAQ
Does the fairway headcover fit a hybrid?
It does, but it can sit a little loose. A hybrid headcover is shaped for the hybrid's smaller head.
Is the headcover numbered?
Our fairway headcovers aren't numbered. If you carry several fairway woods, pick different series and you'll tell them apart easily.
How is it different from a driver headcover?
Size. The fairway headcover is shaped for a smaller clubhead, so it fits a fairway wood better.
