Golf headcovers in cabretta leather – designed in Sweden
A headcover isn't the most important club in your bag. But it's the first thing people see when you set the bag down on the first tee.
Our golf headcovers are made from soft cabretta leather and designed in Sweden. We make them for driver, fairway wood, hybrid, putter and alignment sticks. Classic club protection, with just enough personality to stand out.
Why use golf headcovers?
The clubs in a golf bag knock into each other all the time. When you walk, when the bag rides in the car, when you set it down. Woods and putters have large, painted surfaces that scratch easily.
A headcover does three things:
- Protects the clubhead from scratches, marks and knocks from other clubs.
- Quiets the rattle when the clubs move around in the bag.
- Makes it easy to grab the right club, especially if you carry several woods.
It also makes the bag yours. That's not a minor detail.
Which clubs need a headcover?
Most golfers cover the driver, fairway woods and hybrids. They have big heads with painted crowns and sit high in the bag, where they knock into each other.
The putter comes next. You use it on every hole, and the head is sensitive. A putter headcover protects both the finish and the face.
Irons usually do fine without. They're tougher and sit lower in the bag.
Alignment sticks aren't clubs, but they deserve a home too. An alignment stick headcover keeps them together so they don't rattle around the bag.
Cabretta leather, synthetic or knit?
Headcovers come in three main materials. Each has its upside.
Cabretta leather
Cabretta is a thin, dense leather from hair sheep. It's soft, strong and ages well. It's the same material used in golf gloves, because it gives you both feel and durability. A cabretta leather headcover holds its shape and looks better the longer you use it.
Synthetic leather
Synthetic is cheaper and handles rain well. It can look good when new, but cracks and turns shiny sooner. A fine choice if price comes first.
Knit
Knit headcovers have a classic, slightly nostalgic look. They're soft, but they soak up water and can stretch out over time.
We chose cabretta leather because it lasts, feels good in the hand and gets better looking with age. It's for golfers who'd rather buy once and use it for years.
Finding the right fit
A headcover should be snug enough to stay on the club, but not so tight it's a struggle to pull off.
- Driver: Shaped for the driver's large head. Our driver headcovers fit most drivers.
- Fairway wood: A bit smaller than the driver cover. Fits most fairway woods.
- Hybrid: The smallest of our wood covers. Fits most hybrids.
- Putter: Choose by putter type. Blade putters and mallet putters have completely different shapes.
- Alignment sticks: Made to hold a pair of alignment sticks together.

How to spot a good headcover
The difference between a good headcover and a lesser one is easy to see once you know what to look for.
- The material: Real leather feels soft and dense. Synthetic often feels stiff and shiny.
- The stitching: Even, tight stitching holds the shape. Loose stitching is the first thing to come apart.
- The inside: A soft, lined interior protects the club's finish. A hard interior can leave scratches of its own.
- The fit: The cover should stay on while you walk, but come off easily.
Pick a style: our series
We've grouped our headcovers into series, so it's easy to build a set that belongs together.
- Clean White: Clean white cabretta leather with embroidered details in Stripe's dark green. Timeless and pared back.
- Stripe Pattern: Our own pattern. Shows up across the whole bag. Available for driver, fairway, hybrid, blade and mallet putter, and alignment sticks.
- Stripe Green: Green cabretta leather for when you want color without overdoing it.
- Major: A tribute to golf's biggest championships. No official ties.
- Lotus: A floral motif for anyone who wants something completely different in the bag.
Match the whole set, or mix series. There are no rules. It's your bag.
How to care for a leather headcover
Treat the leather roughly like you'd treat a good jacket.
- Wipe off dirt with a slightly damp cloth.
- Let wet headcovers dry at room temperature. Never on the radiator.
- Give the leather a little leather conditioner once or twice a season.
- Store the bag somewhere dry over the winter.
Do that and the cover will last for many seasons.
Headcovers as a gift
A headcover is one of the best gifts for a golfer. It gets used every round, it's on show in the bag, and it's something most people never buy for themselves. A driver headcover or a putter headcover is the safest pick, since almost every golfer carries those clubs.
